Unai World Maps
These are world maps for a personal project that I'm developing. I use them to keep my ideas consistent, and create an overview that I can refer back to. They are great for generating ideas as well. The climate and resource maps will give me a general idea of the conditions that the people that live there experience, and what resources that they would have to build or trade with. The trade map gives me an idea of what societies would be connected or be in contact often, and from that I can play with ideas of how they would influence each other via religions, trade, culture and customs. They are a work in progress and are likely to be updated and changed as I continue to work on them!
This is a climate map that adheres to the Koppen Climate Classification System.
Main trade routes and cities. Some of these trade routes are only accessible during different parts of the year, depending on the seasons.
Resource locations. These are by no means 100% scientic. I referenced Artifexian's YouTube channel a lot for this one.
The different tectonic places and how they are moving. Different kinds of movements will have cool effects on the world. They can be used as a starting place for world building and ideas.
